It's combat time again, and this month there were only 3 registered pilots: Mike McLaughlin, Andrew Smith, and Robert Sanderson. Unfortunately after a valiant attempt by the Sanderson combat team, Robert never made it into the air.(There seems to be a pattern here Robert....)

Round 1:
The first round started off well, the streamers held up fine this time, even with the strong winds! Mike and Andrew began to wildly tear up the sky. Or at least Mike did, with the strong wind it was all Andrew could do just to stay airborne! The pattern of Andrew screaming at mach 5 downwind and struggling to gain ground upwind began. This continued the entire round as Mike seemed to effortlessly circle him, cutting Andrew's streamer at his leisure . The round ended with two cuts for Mike, and zero for Andrew.

Round 2:
The second continued much as the first, Andrew struggling upwind with Mike zig-zagging his tail making cuts. However during the final seconds of the round, Andrew made a daring attempt to loop back and try for a cut on Mike. Andrew began watching Mike's plane for the perfect time for the maneuver. Unfortunately Andrew's plane made an unseen roll. Having spotted the perfect time for the attack Andrew yanked hard up, being inverted, things didn't work out so well. Andrew instead made a great impression of a Lawn-Dart.

Round 3:
Andrew was out of commission after Lawn Darting in the second round, leaving only Mike, so no third round was flown.

Final Results:
Mike wins the December round of Combat, Congrats to Mike.
